Meet Captain Phil Luedee

Captain Phil Luedee

Captain Phil came to Sebasco as a child where he learned to sail and operate boats from the ‘big kids’. He has a degree in marine science and a lifelong love of the ocean which he amply shares during his boat tours. From oceanographic vessels, sailboats, and tugboats he has collected a host of ocean-going experiences that he loves to share. Phil was the longest running captain of our beloved Ruth with 26 years at her helm. When Ruth was retired in 2019 he led the search for Sebasco that found Random Island, a Maine built hull, and returned her home to build a new legacy at Sebasco. Phil lives right here in Phippsburg with his wife Linda and has three grown children and two grandchildren.

Meet Captain Jack McKenna

Captain Jack

Captain Jack has been involved with boating since he was a boy. He spent his summers on boats in Salem Harbor, and exploring the waters of Massachusetts. He holds a degree in hydrogeology and operated an environmental company where he spent many years conducting marine surveys throughout New England waters. Jack spent 10 years as a Captain for the Thompson Island Outward Bound program in Boston Harbor. His experience includes whale watches, tour boats and survey vessels from Cape Cod to Maine. Jack lives in Edgecomb with his wife and has 2 grown children and 1 grandson.
