Keeping You Safe, from the Lighthouse Keeper

These are historically new times and we have adjusted to what will be the new normal, creating new standards of sanitation and cleaning that will remain in place moving forward.  We are taking all steps necessary to keep both our guests and our staff safe from COVID -19.

We want to enjoy all the wonderful things Sebasco has to offer without any concern for your family’s safety.  The beauty of Maine and our great outdoors has never been more in focus than now.    The warmth of the hospitality we have been providing for 90 years will not change.  We promise broad smiles will still be there, even behind a mask.  We will have to put the hugs, the handshakes and even the high fives on hold for a while.  That won’t be easy for us but let us hope that will be temporary.

Moving forward, this summarizes our standards for 2020.

  • Guests may Pre-Register and get all their information and keys without coming to the desk.  Just call when you arrive, and we will meet you outside of the registration area.  If you want to come in, that area will be used exclusively for guests and front desk staff and fully sanitized with the proper barriers and shielding between you and us.
  • Properly spaced, in restaurant dining will still be available, but we have expanded outdoor seating around the entire campus and can arrange for meals to be delivered to you if needed.
  • Distancing Guidelines will be defined for seating at the pool, outdoor patios and decks, and all around our wide-open spaces

We remain committed to the highest standards of personalized service.  We have adopted and, in many cases exceeded, protocols set by the CDC, both nationally and in Maine,  and are using the Stay Safe Initiative developed by the American Hotel & Lodging Association, working with all of the major chains and independent resorts around the country.   Please feel free to explore the links below for the details of our programs.
