“Very pleasant surprise.”
We stayed in the main lodge for 4 nights - 2 adults and 2 girls (9, 12). While the room was a little tight it was adequate and the balcony helped. Anyway, there is so much to do at Sebasco in fine weather that this is minor in the grand scheme of things. Value-wise it helped that Sebasco had an internet offer on the accommodation so was very reasonable... (read more at Tripadvisor.com)
“We had a great family reunion at Sebasco”
We had a family reunion at Sebasco this summer. We chose this resort because it offered something for everyone. There were 19 of us from all over the country (aged 3 to 84). Every day brought a new adventure. On our first morning, a group of 7 took a scenic cruise aboard the Ruth. During that time I enjoyed several hours at the spa - with my sisters, nieces and daughter. Heaven! One evening we attended the lobsterbake on the Pool Lawn, where we all danced to the Contra Band as the sun set over Sebasco harbor... (read more at Tripadvisor.com)
This is like taking a step back in time! We had so much fun with our family here! We stayed in a cabin which was a great experience if you are not looking for luxury...The cabin was adorable, clean and just right for a family of four...We wanted to go camping somewhere in maine but the weather was horrible so this is the next best thing...The resort does offer newer deluxe rooms but we wanted a rustic getaway..Our kids were able to roam the property at will on their bikes without us having to worry about them... This is a prime wedding location and far more reasonable than some other area locations. We had a water front wedding and our reception at the Maine Maritime Academy also part of Sebasco. Beautiful is all I can really say, fairy tale. One word of wisdom: Watch for golf balls. There are signs everywhere but you don't think about it until one hits the windshield of one of your guests cars :)
